PPaneled

AI comic character generator: one hero, every page

The hardest part of an AI comic is keeping the same character looking like themselves. Paneled solves it: create a character once - by description or from your own reference images - save it, and reuse it across pages, chapters and whole series with a consistent face, hair and outfit.

Why character consistency is hard - and how Paneled fixes it

Image models tend to "drift": ask for the same person twice and you get two different faces. Paneled anchors a character three ways at once - your reference images, a distilled character bible (hair, eyes, face, clothes) and the chapter's first page as a style anchor. The result stays recognizable far better than a one-off prompt.

How to create a character in 4 steps

  1. Switch to Character mode. The editor draws a clean, single-character reference - neutral pose, plain background, no panels or speech bubbles.
  2. Describe the look or attach references. "Tall girl, silver bob, scar over the left eye, red jacket" - or upload 1-6 images of how the character should look.
  3. Generate. You get a full-body, head-to-toe character reference in your chosen art style.
  4. Save it. The character goes to your library and becomes insertable into any comic by its token - drop it into a scene and it keeps its identity.

FAQ

Can I use my own reference images?

Yes. Upload 1-6 images of the character and Paneled will match the look. You can also describe the character in words, or combine both.

Will the face really stay the same?

It's anchored by your references plus a text "character bible", which keeps identity far steadier than a plain prompt. Some drift is still possible - a limit of current image models - but regeneration and targeted edits fix off frames quickly.

How many characters can I save?

By plan: Free 2, Plus 6, Creator 24 saved characters in your library.
